Drain any excess fat and add the frozen peas and corn. Mix everything until well combined and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Pour the mashed potatoes on top and spread them out evenly—place under the broiler for about five minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown. Serve immediately.
